I decided to make fried pork chops.
I know fried (cooked by frying in fat) is a bad word, but sometimes we long for "the bad".
Have you ever had a deep-fried pork chop? If you haven't, make sure you visit Paula Deen. I tried her deep-fried pork chop recipe once, okay a couple times, and they are out of this world delicious. A deep-fried pork chop in the Ohio area is known as "broasted".
I crushed four cups of whole crackers with my rolling pin. I crushed them really fine because I want to use them as a coating for my pork chops.
I squirted the mustards onto my pork chops (I had four pork chops by the way) and smeared the mustards on both sides of the pork chops.

Oh you clever clever woman! These look simply divine and I'm sure they tasted heavenly. Broasted is great! Your pictures are always awesome!
ReplyDeleteOh my gracious... these look heavenly.... I am so gonna make these (if I can find those Cheez-It's that is.....) Did you make the ranch cheese ball??? Love the new look of the roses... Ahhh Valentines Day don't you love it :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't get the cheese ball made, due to the fact of, as the day went on I got lazier and lazier, and caught up in the Hallmark channel. What can I say? They are running romantic Valentine movies. I will get it made though. My family loves easy access to snacks. I will make sure to link it to you.
ReplyDeleteThat is not necessary.... hoping you like it... I know I am exhausted today a sick baby and hubby all weekend... I think I need a vacation.
