Did you catch that? YOUR figure??
Just trying to put a little humor in my posts, no offence, I hope.....
But for real, this is an awesome dessert and only takes 5 ingredients. This recipe came from a facebook fan (Jilleena Jesse). I'm so glad she shared this with me because this will definitely be a regular in my house from now on. This stuff is great, and you can't even tell it's fat free, or sugar free, or good for you, or low in calories, and all that icky stuff....you know what I mean?
1 1/2 c. fat free milk (I used 1%)
1 pkg. sugar free butterscotch pudding
1 large apple, peeled and chopped (honey crisp)
1 1/2 c. fat free cool whip
1 pkg. sugar free Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, chopped
Mix milk and pudding in a mixing bowl for 2 minutes. Pour into a bowl and mix in chopped apple. Fold in whipped cream and top with chopped peanut butter cups.
Chill and then serve.
mmmm I am in heaven..sound absolutely delicious!!!
ReplyDeleteOH.MY.SOUL!! This is screaming my name...I will HAVE to make it soon. Were the s-f candy bars difficult to find? I make something similar, but not with the added candy. That's about to change! =) BTW - the recipe I posted today is for butterscotch apple cake...great minds think alike huh? *-* Thanks for sharing this awesome recipe.
ReplyDeleteNo, they are not hard to find. You can find a variety of Hershey's s-f candy in any candy isle, but it is kind of pricey. I found mine on sale, Thank God! And there isn't very many to a bag. I used 1 whole bag with this recipe.
ReplyDeleteAngie - wanted to tell you I made this today and love it! I think I'll probably save it to share at my blog in the new year...I have so many other posts ready for the holidays, and this will be a great one to share in the new year when folks are more diet-conscious. I'm sooo tickled you shared it with me. =)
ReplyDeleteI loved this recipe too....the flavors just work together. I have such great FB fans, and I love every one of them. I'm so glad Jilleena shared this with me.
