It is cold outside today, and I wanted a quick lunch so I can get started on my next project: Amish Sugar Cookies.
On cold days like this all I can think about is a nice warm blanket and my COUCH. I'm going to be in big trouble this winter, I won't get anything done....
All of my ingredients are chopped, shredded, and set out for the ultimate taco salad creation.
My Ranch Style Beans are hiding in the picture, right there, on top of the sour cream.
Can't have a Mexican meal without Ranch Style Beans.
I don't know how I ever lived without them.
AHHH, there's the Ranch Style Beans.
I just had to have a plateful on the side.
How many of you drizzle ranch salad dressing on your taco salad?
I am guilty of that.
I also like my taco salad smothered with onions and cheese, just a little salsa and sour cream.

On the side, on top, it just has to be done.
I don't have a recipe for this one, but it is pretty self-explanatory.
Brown meat, season with Mexican spices, shred lettuce, chop onions, shredded cheese, salsa, RANCH STYLE BEANS, sour cream, corn chips, and ranch dressing.

ReplyDeleteThe one thing I like about taco salad is, it is so versatile. You can throw just about anything on a taco salad and it still remains taco salad. I have seen it made with chicken before too.
