I am pretty good about doing that, but this week my food items were thrown out of sequence.
I had hamburger that was going to be made into patties for the grill.
Buns set out to sandwich the hamburgers.
Sliced mushrooms to accent a salad.
Mushrooms were used in a saute. Now what do I put on my salad?
The buns were used for chicken sandwiches.
I sauteed a small package of sliced mushrooms with sliced onion. I used about 2 TBS of butter to saute them in. This only takes about 5 - 10 minutes on medium heat.
4 boneless skinless chicken thighs
Swiss cheese singles
Mushroom and onion saute
Brown the chicken thighs in a skillet using a little olive oil. I seasoned mine with spicy sea salt.
Place the cooked chicken thigh on a bun bottom, lay a slice of Swiss cheese on top, and then top with mushroom saute. Mustard was placed on my sandwich.
"And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route."
Matthew 2:12
Finding Jesus may mean that your life must take a different direction, one that is responsive and obedient to God's Word. In what ways has Jesus affected the direction of your life?
You are tops when it comes to creativity! Love this yummy idea!
ReplyDeleteQuick thinking! I really like the flavors of swiss cheese and mushrooms together in sandwiches in burgers. So good!
ReplyDeleteI make a weekly menu too! (well ok I plan 2 weeks, I am a little O.C.D. like that!)
ReplyDeleteThese look and sound great! I do believe they will be going on my menu board in the near future!
