One joy that I look forward to every time a new post is posted.
This is one of my favorite blogs that I look forward to daily. One that inspires me, touches me, and has even made me cry on occasion.
This blog is absolutely amazing. (click the high-lighted link)
"When life places a lid."
With my first semester of college coming to an end (finals to study for), volunteer work at the church (deadlines), assisting friends in need (help with schoolwork), my grandmother (90) falling (spending time with her). It really feels like life has pressed down hard with a tight lid.
I felt the need to lift that lid today. Walk in the wonders that God has created.
Breathe deep.
Enjoy serenity.
And live just a few moments in nature.
I needed that short backyard walk.
Bleeding Hearts just moments away from full bloom.
The growth of a new plant.
Feeding the birds.
And finding morning dew all nestled inside the leaves.
"Listen to this Job; stop and consider God's wonders. Do you know how God controls the clouds and makes His lightning flash? Do you know how the clouds hang poised, those wonders of Him who is perfect in knowledge? You who swelter in your clothes when the land lies hushed under the South wind, can you join Him in spreading out the skies, hard as a mirror of cast bronze?"
Job 37: 14-18
Nothing can compare to God and his creations. His power and presence are awesome, and when He shows us, we must listen. God cares, and he shows us every day how he cares by giving us the ability to see His silent creations. God is in control. Be ready to hear and see his message - in the Bible, in your life, through the Holy Spirit, and through stressful circumstances and relationships.
Lift that life-lid that is pressing down hard. Get up and take a nature walk.....
Oh what a sweet, uplifting reminder of God's goodness - even when it feels like the 'lid is shut tight'. Thanks for sharing your beautiful heart with all of us. May you feel His loving arms wrapped around you today. GREAT scripture you shared too. Hugz! XO
