Muffin Top: Smoked Sausage With Zucchini

This is my breakfast for the morning. 2 eggs scrambled and a Light & Fit yogurt with Flax seed.

Sean loves Wendy's, and when he invites me to go with him, I feel bad if I say "no". This is what I did during my trip to Wendy's.

I ordered a hamburger with lettuce, cheese, tomato, pickle, and a Cesar side salad. I took the hamburger and toppings out of the bun, and only drizzled enough dressing on my salad for the flavor. I also omitted the croutons. That was my lunch.

That is my dresser full of jeans that I can no longer wear, and I was wearing all of them before my job ended (October, 2009).

As Sean was putting clean clothes away, he asked me, "Why do you have so many jeans?"

I told him, "I love jeans. They are my most favorite thing to wear."

But right now, with the thirty pounds of weight I have gained from my job loss, I can't wear them anymore.

Before my job ended, I was a size 10 (with no muffin top). At the age of 41, and being a size 10, I think that is pretty darn good, considering I was a size 8 in high school.

The jeans I wear now, they give me that awful "muffin top" look....ICK!!

I really want that to go away.....

This is my favorite pair of jeans.

Levi's are the best!! Look the best!! And feel the best!!

I will be wearing these again soon.

My goal!!

This was my dinner. Smoked sausage with zucchini. Can you say, "fiber?"

I sliced two green zucchini and one yellow zucchini. I chopped a half of an onion and two cloves of garlic. I sauteed them all together until crisp tender. I do not like soggy squash. I also seasoned the dish with salt, fresh ground pepper, and a few rosemary leaves.

Delish!!
And Sean even like it.....

"Now gather the leftovers," Jesus told his disciples, "So that nothing is wasted." John 6:12

  1. Cute new background doll! Loving the food, and with the way you are eating you'll definitely be back in your sassy jeans soon. The only jeans I find that do not give me muffin top are DKNY and I have to buy them in short because i`m barely 4'11. Well I just found out that they stopped making them. Really I am not thrilled. So now I need to start dropping weight like crazy because I only have extra pairs of the jeans in 0, 2 and 4 and I am so not that size right now lol.

As for orange being hot for summer it totally is, and in any shade variety. My friend has fire engine red hair, you'd think she dyed it with how insanely bright it is. She wears a peach thats very light and it looks gorgeous. Maybe you could find something like that. I think a peach would look cute.

  2. Your photos are so awesome! The jeans look 'alive'! =) You're doing great and no doubt, you'll be back in them in no time if you keep up this healthy!! eating! I've made a very similar dish to this one, but added a little spaghetti sauce & some cheese. Of course, it would have to be reduced-fat cheese, but very yummy.

  3. Peach is definitely an in color for me. And to keep with the fads, I found a top that has little dots of brown and orange and isn't too bad looking with my hair.
I have to buy my jeans in short too. I am only a little over 5'. You are the exact same height as my mother.
