Only Because I'm Going Bananas: Product Testing

I am relying on product testing right now....

Do you know why?

Because I am going bananas!

I am in the process of moving, and half of my kitchen is one house and half of it in another. I am about ready to lose my mind. But as I did a store run for necessities for a mover to survive (fast food, pre-made salads, deli food, etc....) I ran across these bananas. Have you tried these? They are simply AMAZING. About three bites and they're gone.
If you are anything like me, I get half way through a regular sized banana and I don't want anymore. And there is no way to save a banana once its been peeled. These little mini bananas that Dole offers are just the right size. And it says on the package, "Best if peeled from the bottom". Now does it really make a difference on what end you peel a banana from? Yes it does. And believe me, I tested this theory....I peeled one from the top and one from the bottom. You know those stringy things you get on a banana when you peel it? Well, if you peel it from the bottom you don't get any stringy things. And the taste of these bananas are super sweet.....
And I'll share a little more info on these minis; I usually get heartburn when I eat a normal sized banana. No heartburn with the mini bananas. I am truly loving this product.

And here is another product that I ran across. A mover MUST have caffeine, right? These iced coffee packets on the go are perfect. If you like iced coffee you will love these travel packets.

  1. Those type of bananas are so yummy! A restaurant near my house includes them with their weekend brunches! I've never seen them sold pre-packaged like that. I've only gotten them sold in loose bunches, like regular bananas. It is cool how these bananas are so right sized! As for Starbuck's, I love their Via coffees to go, especially the Columbian. Their Iced Coffee is just too sweet for my taste buds. The Via is available at Costco, which helps justify buying it! I just finished moving right before Chrismas, so I get what you're saying! I kept out my hot pot while moving, for making instant coffee, cocoa, hot spiced cider, soups. It's lightweight &
easy to pack on my own anyway. I love reading your blog! Thanks for sharing!

  2. I've got to look for the mini-bananas. They look terrific. I'm about to have my morning banana and I will be peeling from the bottom. t
