Fun With Girlfriends (Bloggers): Sweetie-licious

I am so excited about this post.....

A day spent with blogging girlfriends. What a fantastic day!

We spent the day in DeWitt, Michigan at Sweetie-licious.

If you are ever in DeWitt, make sure you stop in and grab a pie, or muffin, or cookie, or macaroon, or cupcake. I think the list is endless.

Sweetie-licious is the cutest little bakery I have ever seen. Pink, pink, and more pink. Surely a girls haven.

The outside is even cute, cute, cute....

And what does a professional blogger do when they visit some place new?

They carry their camera to the bathroom, of course.

The bathroom was just darling....

Raspberry and cream pie. I can only make this in my dreams.....

Muffins and cookies. A whole display of them.

The specials board was just way too cute.

The little kitchen toys that were scattered throughout the bakery made the atmosphere just perfect.

A little wooden kitchen cupboard, sink, and stove. A little girls dream....

And I thought this was just darling. A trash bin with a dishpan on top to collect dirty dishes.

We all had such a good time tasting each other's goodies.

Joelle above, is ordering a chocolate cherry whoopie pie.

Marsha is eating a brownie cherry treat. It tasted just like a cordial cherry.

Linda Hundt sure knows what she is doing. She had so many blue ribbons displayed, I couldn't get them all in one picture.

And the Crisco award; I was told by the wait staff that Crisco is considering placing Linda on the Crisco can.

That is just way too cool.

Blogging girlfriends: Joelle (Joelle), Sweetie-Pie of the month (wait staff), Me (A'lil Country Sugar), Marsha (The Better Baker)

I am on a mission after visiting Sweetie-licious. I am going to experiment until I create a snickerdoole just like the one in the picture.

OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD DELICIOUS!

And the size of the cookie is ginormous!

This is the funny part of the day.....

I purchased 4 really cute cherry cupcakes. The frosting was swirled high on top of the cupcakes with a cherry placed on top.

The weather was hot, the cupcakes top-heavy, can you see where this is going?

When I got home, bragging about the cute, cute, cupcakes, opened the lid, and found this mess. The cupcakes had fallen over, and the frosting melted.....
But one good thing, they still tasted great. I just scooped up the frosting and put it back on the cupcake.

"A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity."
Proverbs 17:17

A true friend never fails, no matter what. A true brother is always ready to help in time of need or trouble. The wise man described excellent friends and brothers in very few words. Ask yourself; Are you a true friend? Do you have true friends?
Two are better than one! A solitary life is lonely and fruitless! There are four ways a true friend helps:
1. They share in success
2. They help when you fall
3. They provide encouragement and synergy
4. They help oppose enemies
Successful people have great friends.
Can I answer the two questions asked? Yes & Yes
My friends mean the world to me, and I adhere to all four helps. Marsha and Joelle are my true friends. How many true friends do you have in your life?
