Food Out Of Sequence: Mushroom Swiss Chicken Sandwich

Do you plan your meals for the week?

I am pretty good about doing that, but this week my food items were thrown out of sequence.

I had hamburger that was going to be made into patties for the grill.

Buns set out to sandwich the hamburgers.

Sliced mushrooms to accent a salad.

The hamburger was turned into meatballs. Now what do I do with the buns?

Mushrooms were used in a saute. Now what do I put on my salad?

The buns were used for chicken sandwiches.

I sauteed a small package of sliced mushrooms with sliced onion. I used about 2 TBS of butter to saute them in. This only takes about 5 - 10 minutes on medium heat.

Mushroom Swiss Chicken Sandwich

4 boneless skinless chicken thighs
Swiss cheese singles
Mushroom and onion saute

Brown the chicken thighs in a skillet using a little olive oil. I seasoned mine with spicy sea salt.
Place the cooked chicken thigh on a bun bottom, lay a slice of Swiss cheese on top, and then top with mushroom saute. Mustard was placed on my sandwich.

"And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route."
Matthew 2:12

Finding Jesus may mean that your life must take a different direction, one that is responsive and obedient to God's Word. In what ways has Jesus affected the direction of your life?
