New Product: Weber BBQ Chicken

This is some of the best chicken I have ever had,
and I wanted to take the time to show you guys just
how juicy and flavorful it is.
And easy?
It sure is.
350 degree F. oven for about 35-40 minutes
and dinner is served.
Have you tried this stuff yet? It doesn't say "NEW" on the package,
but it's new to me because I've never seen it before.
My last trip to the grocery store I found this in the meat
seasoning section. You know, that section with all flavor
envelopes....Where you could spend at least two hours and
not see everything.....
There are so many different seasonings and marinades (so confusing)
and usually I just walk on by. But those big red apples caught
my attention (yes, we are visual shoppers).
Instead of following directions (I'm known for doing that),
I used unsweet pineapple juice instead of apple juice.
I made the marinade and soaked the
chicken breast (3 half pieces) overnight.
And the nutrition facts are really easy to work with if you're
watching carbs and sugars. The pineapple juice is what
took the hit in the nutrition facts area (sugar).
Which I don't understand that either.....UNSWEET Pineapple juice -
35g sugar/35g carbs.
It's a good thing that the marinade only calls for 1/2 cup.
But anyway, pick some of this Weber marinade up and give it a try.
I know you will love it (and the meat comes out so juicy).
And there are all different kinds using different kinds of fruit juice.
The next one I'm going to try calls for orange juice (pork).

  1. That does look good! I get overwhelmed sometimes with things that say unsweetened or even sugar free but still have grams of sugar! Enjoy your day!

  2. That looks great! I have never seen that brand and I LOOK. Perhaps it is a regional item. Might have to look for something similar.

  3. Sounds very tasty. I've never heard of it before either. The pineapple just sounds yummy though kind of like a teriyaki feel.

The Pineapple juice is unsweetened but the natural sugar in it is high. Can you believe that some companies add sugar or corn syrup to the already naturally sweetened Pineapple juice?

    1. I have been trying hard to dodge sugar. We Americans eat way too much of it. When I go to the grocery store I focus on sugar-free. And I also soak up advise that anyone is willing to give. I was told that fruit juices should be totally avoided. They are very high in sugar. I could not imagine (unsweet)pineapple juice being any sweeter.

  4. I've not seen this before, but know I would love apple flavor with chicken. It does look so moist and tender. Thanks for introducing another new product to me!!!
